O'CARROLLYNS HEATED SWIM / SPA POOL

Our pool size is 5.5m x 2.6m x 1.2m deep. There isn’t a shallow end. However, there is a seat on one long side and one short side.
The pool is covered 24 x 7 with a solar blanket to keep the heat in.
|
The pool also has an accessible hoist available for the elderly or disabled that can not negotiate the steps. We don’t leave it there all of the time but it is very easy to install upon request. |

Evening swimming and spas can be organised with reception – especially during the warmer day light saving period.
O’Carrollyn’s looks forward to installing another pool in the very near future adjacent to the swim/spa – bottler!

O'CARROLLYNS "BAIT SHED" BBQ
Situated in the centre of the property and adjacent to Frog Hollow Billabong, the BBQ is quaintly named the Bait Shed BBQ.
The name derives from the original owners of the property, who were fishermen and they had their bait shed complete with brining racks, lobster pots and cooking devises on the very same spot.
So why not keep the tradition going.

Access to the Bait Shed BBQ is either from over Twilight Bridge (bungalows 1 – 5) or from Up the Garden Path North (bungalows 6 – 9). |

The Bait Shed BBQ Incorporates:
A huge (11 x 6 metre) architectural all weather area with 2 x BBQ’s with gas on the house, 1 x char grill and the other a flat plate with ample tables and chairs.
The area is protected from the cold winter southerly and westerly winds.

Facilities Include:

7 x tables with either 4 or 6 chairs + more stacked chairs. |

Fluorescent lights over the BBQ’s + additional feature lighting. |
|
Dinner and sandwich plates, cups and saucers, breakfast bowls, knives, forks, spoons etc are all available in the area for the customer to save carrying same from your bungalow or having to use non ECO paper or plastic items. |

All BBQ utensils in the blue lidded box. |
|
Cook top, oven, urn, kettle and toaster. |
|
Pots, pans, etc. |
|
Huge sink with hot and cold running water. |
|
2 x fridges with freezers are located adjacent to the BBQ in the Tall Story Conference/Meeting Room. |

Sponge, scourers, dish washing liquid, tea towels etc for cleaning up afterwards. |
|
Plastic bags to wrap food scraps. |
|
Piped music from the Tall Story Conference/Meeting Room adjacent. |
|
Amenities (toilet, hand basin with soap on tap and paper towels) is also available in the adjacent Tall Story Conference/Meeting Room. |

If it is not there you’ll find it at reception. |
|
Recycling and garbage bins are also located in the BBQ area.

During the beautiful cooler months a ‘hibachi’ (heat bead fire pit) is lit in the evenings for the enjoyment of customers. |

This facility has it all for guest to either mingle together or big enough for you to find your own space especially when you consider that it joined to the Tall Story Meeting Room. |
O'CARROLLYNS OPEN FIRE PIT
Situated on the south east corner of the property just beyond the pool is Full-a-Ducks Dam and right beside it is the open fire pit. During the great cooler months of the year it is a great spot to chin wag with family or mates over a selected beverage. |

If you would like to enjoy this great O'Carrollyns asset just ask the staff. In the next breath the open fire pit, if lit early enough is a brilliant cooking tool for roasted potatoes, pumpkin and carrots in foil to add to the evening BBQ.
If you are having a family get together or are just a bunch of mates having a getaway it is also great to add in a guitarist for a few hours for a few dollars. The choices of entertainment are currently country and western or folk. Even song books can be handed out for a sing along. Brilliant!
After dinner toast some marshmallows with the kiddies using the O'Carrollyns wire sticks.
A huge spot light is installed on the pool fence nearby which can either be on or off. In the off position the milky way is very visible right over the top of the fire pit.
