O'Carrollyns is
situated just a short walk away from the beautiful One Mile
Beach on the Southern coast of Port Stephens. The wonderful
landscape around O'Carrollyns is part of the Tomaree National
Park, and is also part of one the Port Stephens koala corridors.

O'Carrollyns is in the
heart of beautiful Port Stephens
surrounded by many pretty bays and beaches and only a short
drive to most places of interest in the area. One Mile Beach
is perfect for surfing as well as relaxing and situated only
500m away.
It is only a 5 minute
drive to the shopping centres of Nelson Bay and Salamander
Bay, and a 5 minute drive to the magnificent Stockton Beach
sand dunes.

From Nelson
Bay you can take a boat ride to watch the resident dolphins
and the whales during their Southern and Northern migration. You
can also catch the boat over to Tea Gardens on the Northern edge
of Port Stephens.
O'Carrollyns is also conveniently
located close to the beautiful Stockton Bight Sand Dunes, which
are ideal for a stroll or a 4WD adventure.

The two headlands,
Yacaaba and Tomaree, marking the entrance to the wonderful
Port Stephens are also worth visiting. Be prepared for a relatively
strenuous walk to the top, although once you are there it
is worth it. You can get marvellous views over the bay and
out across the ocean.

The Hunter
Valley is only an hours drive away and makes a nice day out
full of wonderful landscape and of course fantastic wines.
