and busy harbour. Nelson Bay also makes an ideal location
from which to explore the rest of Port
Stephens on one of its many cruises. There are plenty
of activities in the area to keep yourself and your family

You can join cruises from Nelson
Bay to watch the popular Port Stephens dolphins as well as the migrating
whales. It is also possible to a bus tour to the Hunter
Valley and the other bays and beaches of Port Stephens, and
a boat cruise to Tea gardens on the Northern coastline of Port Stephens.

Nelson Bay isn't short on charters offering a variety of fishing
trips. If you'd prefer to go out on your own it is possible
to hire a variety of boats for either fishing, sight seeing
or dolphin watching within the Port itself.
